Welcome to 231 Farm Center! We’re pleased that you are here!  As a family owned business, we have been serving Southern Maryland for over 35 years. For decades, our family has been farming, growing tobacco, and living off the land. We are proud to present Southern Maryland with farm, home, and pet supplies. Mulch

Our double shredded hardwood mulch is ground on-site. It is aged at least 60 days and then double shredded. While other mulches may use old pallets or other used construction material, ours is 100% natural and organic. We also carry bags of popular mulch that we do not have available fresh for pickup or delivery. Bring your vehicle and we will load you up!

Topsoil and Leafgro

We have fresh, rich, local top soil on-site available for pickup or delivery. We also stock the popular Leafgro compost and can mix it with Topsoil for a superior blend for your lawn or garden. Leafgro® is a superior quality compost used extensively by the landscape industry and homeowners as a source of humus for soil improvement.

Wood Pellets

We stock wood pellets by the bag or ton. It is available for pickup in-store or delivery to your home or office. Lignetics wood pellets are made from recycled, renewable sawmill waste. Our wood pellets contain all-natural biomass products and are manufactured at the highest quality control levels, designating our wood pellet fuel as premium grade.

We carry a full line of seed and fertilizer available at bulk prices and by the bag.

Kentucky 31, Lescoe All-Pro Premium seed, & Turbo Seed (This is our best seller! It is a turf type tall fescue impregnated with Redox Fertilizer – saves you time and money!)

We have 10-10-10, 10-20-20, 20-0-5, Pelletized Lime, and our new Organic Fertilizer called Microstart60 which is safe for animal pastures.
